More Pictures of Easton and an Update

Well, we've got some more time to post pictures because we're still in the hospital. Emerson had jaundice so we had that on our radars but Easton has a pretty nasty bout of it. We are just thankful they caught it before we were released- with Emerson they didn't until we were home and had to do the in-home light therapy which was a pain. So Easton is in the NICU under the billi-lights 24-7 and we go to nurse her every 3 hours. Hence the abundance of time on our hands! She's had an IV of fluids since last night and her numbers have stabilized since then so I think things are on the upswing. We have to stay for sure tonight but I'm hoping we're home by tomorrow evening. Fingers crossed. Like the NICU nurse said, your baby is the least sick of these other kiddos so Ryan and I are just trying to put everything in perspective. I know she'll be just fine and I'm glad they caught it when they did. I'm even more anxious to get her home and just lay with her on the floor!

Ryan's parents are here from Iowa to relieve my mom who has had Emerson (and done an EXCELLENT job by the way) since I called her early Wednesday morning and Ryan and I are just waiting until tomorrow morning (Sunday) to see how Easton's levels are. We'll go from there.

By the way- all these great pictures are Ryan's doing, not mine. He's done a great job taking pictures but I can't take credit!

I'll have Easton's birthday story up probably tomorrow while we wait around for results. I need to get it written down before I forget! I never did get to writing down Emerson's...

So keep us in your thoughts but Easton will be just fine and hopefully we'll be home with her very soon.

I'm glad we took a ton of pics right away because we haven't gotten to take any in a couple of days because she's in her isolette. :(
