Aloha!

Our good friends Jen and Chad Cross had their annual Luau this past weekend- it's always a blast and they throw the best party. I remembered a time pre-k (pre-kids) when we used to bring Phoebe. I decided to dig out the pictures from that luau.

Someone should have told us.

Ryan and I were trying to figure out what year it was and he guessed two-thousand and fat. Seriously. I took these to Sunday Night Dinner last night and the nicest thing anyone could say was, well, were you pregnant?

Absolutely not.

Not even married yet.

I digress. On to 2011 and my beautiful children...

Last weekend I got to relive 1989 and 1999 all over again- I went to the New Kids on the Block/Backstreet Boys concert with 5 of my best girlfriends. SO fun. We stayed out and I went home the next day to two very excited girls and a clean house.
Best. Husband. Ever.

Kelly (Reiff) Yoder, Nicole (the Fish) Fisher, Stacy (Reiff) Bullcoming, moi, Katie (Mac) Hoyt and our newlywed, Jocelyn (Lavender) Gaddie. 

It's nice to know that after almost 10 (!) years and 9 (!) kids we can all still get together and have fun like its 1999.

Merry Christmas...

Cole and Sarah came down for Emerson's dance recital and had made some pretty cute shirts for them to wear...

Ha! Sarah's due on Christmas Eve and is already 17 weeks along. We're so excited for them and are looking forward to spoiling this baby rotten. What fun these kids are going to have growing up together.

4th of July

We had a great 4th of July this year- beautiful weather and spending time with family makes for a pretty perfect day. We started out the weekend at my cousin, Debbie's house for a visit. Her daughter, Brynn and Emerson are 8 days apart, I think. They hit it off playing Barbies together. I love this shot of Brynn.

In Debbie's basement there was this great toy I'd never seen before. Sort of a toddler friendly roller coaster. Emerson wouldn't touch it- Easton loved it. I'm starting to see a pattern here...

Speaking of Easton Claire, she's officially walking. She's really taken off and it's so cute to see a baby toddling into a room instead of crawling. I just love it.

We had an impromptu get together at Jonathan and Amber's and wanted to get a shot of the ladies.
