Carnival

This year I was basically in charge of the carnival at Franklin Smith. Nothing like running an event I had only been to once! And we changed it around this year so it was during the day instead of in the evening so all kids could attend. I was a bit stressed out to say the least but it turned out really well and since it was a different format, there wasn't really a "wrong" way to do it. The kids had fun and that's what counts

I brought Easton up for a bit to have some fun.  She's as tall or taller than most of the kindergartners so she fit right in.

Arboretum

I heard about the Overland Park Arboretum from a friend and so my mom and I decided to take Nolan and Easton one beautiful fall day. It was worth the drive and nice to see and do something different. I'd love to go back in the spring when there are more flowers in bloom.

Feeding the fish was a bonus.  Good thing we had some of Nolan's Puffs on hand.

Sweet Nolan has really turned a corner, he was so good just sitting in his seat.

There was this awesome train area that Easton loved.  I can definitely see taking Nolan back here in a year or two when he's in a train phase.

More misc. of the kids. Nolan is mobile now so life is about to get a lot more interesting!
