Dr. Wegner, my main doctor whom I love, happened to be on call so that was a great surprise. He also delivered Emerson.

My mom came up that day with the girls around 11- they were excited to finally find out they had a baby brother. We had talked for so long about whether or not they wanted a brother or sister and their answers changed daily. However, Easton called Nolan "Boy Evelyn" for the first month or so because Nolan wasn't a name we had ever talked about. It was awesome.
I love this picture- Emerson just met her new baby brother and she's playing with her Leapster. Already bored with him.
Or as Emerson calls herself, the big BIG sister.
Easton was born in the middle of a snowstorm as was Nolan. Emerson stayed home Monday from school to come visit but school was cancelled the rest of the week so it worked out well. Grandma and Grandpa Wood braved the weather (for the second time!) and came to visit.
His ridiculous going home outfit. I remember putting this little collared shirt on him and thinking, it IS a boy!
