"Hot, Hot, Hot!"

We've got another recital under our belts- she did awesome this year and loved being up on stage in her tap shoes. She's already asked when she can dance again. This fall I'll be taking two little girls to dance- oh my.

I think she found us...

After her first night we went to Applebees and had dessert for dinner.

She got some goodies from Uncle Cole and Aunt Sarah and Grandma and Grandpa Wood.

Chris and Courtney's Reception

We went to the farm a few weeks back for Chris and Courtney's wedding reception. It was fun to see a lot of the same people from the Dominican and show off our girls, who a lot of them had never met before.

This is probably the coolest sandbox ever.

Our first Wood family picture with  Baby Fisher.

Ryan vs. the keg?

Easton found the wedding cake out on the porch the next morning.

T-Ball and more

We signed Emerson up for T-Ball this summer.  She seems to like it okay but I think Ryan has his work out for him...

Representing her sister and doesn't even know it.

Just some fun in a box.

I was painting Emerson's nails on the farm and Easton wanted in.  I'd never painted her nails before because she's so squirly but she just loved it.

Tulip Time in Pella (Minus the Tulips)

My brother in law is from Pella and we went up for Tulip Time last year and had a great time so we went back this year.  With the crazy spring we had, the tulips came around Easter (about a month early) so we missed the flowers but had a blast anyway.

Last year in the wooden shoes...

This is her "look at me Easton!" pose.  Learning from big sister I think.  Tradition is to sweep the streets before the parade in traditional Dutch garb.  Grandma Sue let the girls wear some family outfits so they could sweep too.  They loved it.

Sweet Baby Fisher slept through the whole thing.

I sort of want her to have this belly forever...

The apartment we stay in is at a perfect corner for the parade and there's a great spot on the roof with a birds eye view.

We found the troughs of water they keep on the streets for the "sweeping" and Emerson asked if she could splash.  I think she was shocked when I told her she could...

And then we let Easton go to town with an ice cream cone.
