Corey and the girls and I had a little session in downtown Independence for fun. WHAT fun we had and we've got some amazing pictures to show for it. They've been on FB for awhile now but I needed to put them on the blog to remind myself in 30 years that I fit into that pink dress...

Our Crazy Week

Nat's granddaughters came in from Texas for a visit- they're 9 and 12 so we wanted to keep them busy and to have fun. The first day it rained so we went to the Steamboat Arabia which I hadn't been to in years. It was interesting and my girls did surprisingly well. On Wednesday we all went to Worlds of Fun. All four girls loved it and we had a great time. Camp Snoopy is completely new and Emerson had a great time. Easton didn't get to ride a whole lot but next summer she'll be able to do more.

I was not very fond of this twisty nest thing. I almost puked.

I wanted to get a picture of the girls by the Peanuts people but my scaredy cat Emerson wouldn't go near them.

So Thursday AND Friday we went to Oceans of Fun. It was awesome. I hadn't been there in probably 15 years and a lot has changed. The area for little kids was perfect.

It took a little coaxing but both girls loved the slide.

Skating Party

Last weekend one of my girlfriends had a skating party for her son- it was awesome. I've had numersous birthday parties at this place so it was cool to go back and see how different it looks (or not.)  I'm thinking this'll be a perfect November birthday party.  Emerson put on her first pair of skates and wobbled around a bit. They also had some wheely thing she loved...

Love this one- I was going a million miles an hour pushing Easton and Emerson ran RIGHT in front of me.  Ryan was quick with the camera- hilarious.

God love her...

I had to get this one down for the record books...

Today we were leaving the gym and the woman watching Emerson had painted her fingers and toes while I was working out. As we were leaving, Emerson said to another mom picking up her baby boy, "You need to grow a girl so she can paint her fingernails."
Seriously...

Corey had a session with the girls and me last week- this is one of my (many) favorites.  More to come...

For my birthday this year, the girls and I met my best friend, Amy to go swimming. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time.

Easton's view- not too shabby.

Love this one.

Emerson made some quick friends and had a ball.

Feeding herself is Easton's new favorite pasttime which is good and bad. And always makes for cute pictures.

My bedazzled Royals shirt my sweet husband MADE for me.  He's the best.  And I don't hate him, he was out of town for the celebration hence, the lack of pictures of him.

We wore matching jumpsuits to celebrate.
                              

Emerson was obviously not as excited as I was about my birthday.
