Skating Party

Last weekend one of my girlfriends had a skating party for her son- it was awesome. I've had numersous birthday parties at this place so it was cool to go back and see how different it looks (or not.)  I'm thinking this'll be a perfect November birthday party.  Emerson put on her first pair of skates and wobbled around a bit. They also had some wheely thing she loved...

Love this one- I was going a million miles an hour pushing Easton and Emerson ran RIGHT in front of me.  Ryan was quick with the camera- hilarious.

I had to get this one down for the record books...

Today we were leaving the gym and the woman watching Emerson had painted her fingers and toes while I was working out. As we were leaving, Emerson said to another mom picking up her baby boy, "You need to grow a girl so she can paint her fingernails."
Seriously...

Corey had a session with the girls and me last week- this is one of my (many) favorites.  More to come...

For my birthday this year, the girls and I met my best friend, Amy to go swimming. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time.

Emerson made some quick friends and had a ball.

Feeding herself is Easton's new favorite pasttime which is good and bad. And always makes for cute pictures.

My bedazzled Royals shirt my sweet husband MADE for me.  He's the best.  And I don't hate him, he was out of town for the celebration hence, the lack of pictures of him.

Sweet Corn on the Farm

We went up to Red Oak a couple weekends ago for some sweet corn- it's literally all we eat for lunch. It's awesome. The girls were on board.

Saturday night we just sat outside and hung out. The girls, in their diaper and underwear for some reason. I love how laid back things are on the farm.

We all really were having fun, I swear. :)

The Dentist

Last week the girls had a checkup- it was Easton's first. I love this place and Emerson has a great time going. They've got it down to a science- toys in the waiting room, tv's on the ceiling, tokens for prizes, princess stickers and toothbrushes and a slushee machine. I kind of want to see if they take adults.

The doctor pointed out a 5th tooth poking through so she'll be chomping on a ribeye in no time.

Our July

We had a movie night (we're having them more and more with Emerson's growing obsession with anything princess) and brought out the girls' chairs. Easton won't quite sit still which irritates her older sister when she's trying to concentrate...

Ryan has been baking with Emerson sice she's been tiny so I got her her own apron which she thought was pretty cool. She made muffins the other morning and the only thing Ryan did was measure out the water. She did a great job and was pretty proud of herself.

Emerson and me before our Cinderella date night. We went to Red Robin and Starlight. It was the first time we had done something like that since Easton's been born- it was awesome. She's already asked when we can do it again. Not soon enough.
